How to open a new Gmail account?
In today's tutorial, I will tell you how you can open a new Gmail account in a very easy way. Gmail account but we have many uses like-
- When we open Play Store and YouTube.
- Or a Gmail account is usually used to send email to someone but you need to create a Gmail ID.
- There are also Google Photos or many other products that you cannot use without this Gmail account.
- And also many places require us to provide Gmail account.
First of all, you go to the Gmail (mail.google.com) website by going to your computer or laptop or mobile browser. Go to the Gmail website and follow the steps given below one by one. How to Create a New Gmail Account in 2022 ? The steps are:
Here are the easy steps to open a New Gmail account
Step 1: After visiting the Google Gmail website (accounts.google.com) you will see a box where you will be asked to login with your Gmail ID and password. But, since you don't have any id or password you need to create a new email id and password. To create a new email ID and password, you first need to click on the “Create account” box below the box.
Step 2: Click on Create account and select For Myself. After doing this you will see a page (form) where you have to give some details.
As you can see in the image above, you need to enter three things in your form. They are,
- New Email id
- Your first and last name
- Confirm Password.
First, in the “First name & Last name” box you enter your first and last name.
Enter your new Gmail ID name in place of “Username”. You can enter a username (new email id name) as you like. Remember, the name you give here will be your Google or Gmail ID and you will have to use this username or Gmail ID to login to Gmail and send an email to someone in the future. Gmail Username is Yourname789i or Gmail ID is like - “Yourname789i@gmail.com”.
“Username” Enter the name you want to keep your e-mail address here. If you see some text in red color below, then you should know that the Gmail address of this name has been created or is being used by someone else. For this, you have to choose a unique name and keep it completely different. That's why you then add some numbers after your name like - Yourname789i. You will see this when nothing of red color is shown, which means that name will be completely different or next after Unique.
Now instead of "confirm password" you have to enter the password that you want to keep here. The password you give must be the same in both places. You have to give a password which must contain words numbers and symbols like Yourname1234### then next. And remember the email username created above and you can login to your mail account. So remember the password carefully. Now after filling all the form click on “next” box below.
Step 3: After filling the first form properly, now you will see another form. In this form you have to provide your mobile number, date of birth and gender.
As you can see in the picture above, you must first enter your mobile number in the "Phone number" option. But, as I said earlier, if you want to create Gmail ID without mobile number, then you can do without a mobile number.
Now, if you have any other email id in the “recovery email address” box, enter it here. And if, you don't have any other email id then no need to enter anything. This option will work even if you don't enter anything. You can recover forgotten account password in the future through recovery email.
Now enter your birth day and date in the “your birthday” option below
Now below, go to “Gender” option and select “male” option if you are male and “female” option if you are female.
After entering and giving everything click on “next” link below.
Step 4: If you have given your mobile number in the previous form then now you have to verify the given mobile number. You will see a page named “verify your phone number” to verify the number.
And Click on the “Next” box option at the bottom of the verify phone number page. A code number from Google will be sent to your given mobile number.
Step 5: Now enter the SMS code number sent to your mobile in the “enter verification code” box and click on the “verify” box below.
Step 6: Now after verifying the mobile number, the next step is to accept the Google terms & conditions page. Click on the "I agree" link below on the privacy & terms page you are viewing to accept the terms and conditions. By clicking on I agree, Google privacy and terms will be accepted by you. Step 7: After accepting Google privacy and terms, you can see a page called “Get more from your number”. Here, Google or Gmail requires you to use your mobile number for other Google services, such as Google's video call service. So, since you want to create your email id, click on the “skip” link below.
Congratulations, you now have a Gmail account created. Now you can send email to other mail id with your created email id and others can also send mail to your Gmail ID.
